06 Charger SRT/8

so were in this car listening to some kid rock car has like 600kms on it, it has the factory kicker sub system (not sure about what system this is) but anyway its stock and sounds pretty good.....all of a sudden the one read speaker we hear this "Fraaaaapp" sound where it shouldnt be....

turns out we try a bunch of other cd's and this one note makes this blown speaker fart sound.....we pop into the dealer (we work in the automotive industry) they change the speaker out as blown. new one does the exact same thing.....weirdest to me...

Could the amp have a bad channel that just doesnt like one note?...the noise only happens on the right rear deck speaker, not the sub at all. the note it farts at isnt even a low note, kinda middle of the line (if i had to guess about 600hz)

any ideas?.....next step is to take the rear apart and swap left for right and see.....but even if its not the speaker, then what??

could be a cross over problem on the one channel...depends on how the factory amps and sound processors are set up. If you've already put a new goos speaker in and it still does it...chances are it's not a speaker issue. Cross over may not be functioning properly, allowing too much low bass to enter that channel???

You're positive it'd the speaker itself and not the panel in front of it or something else that may be vibrating? Usually when you get a 'noise' at what seems to be one specific frequency it winds up being something vibrating and not the speaker itself.

DUKK, just thought of a problem with your theory....its does it even when the volume is so low that the music barely audible...i lay my head on the rear deck and at exactly 2:46 into "cowboy" it farts at (not on) me

the speaker plays lower and higher notes without a problem and if it wasnt for the volume thing I'd agree that it just happen to hit the resonating frequency o something nearby.....but at the low volumes its impossible (or nearly) that its a vibration issue ...

any other thoughts or ideas?
