Which probably still wouldn't be as good as the big 3 would be, but hey do whatever you think will work, what do we know...?

i really don't want to strt changing parts yet i havent even had my car for a whole month yet.....maybe in like a yea i will do the old car battery and stuff for right now though i will try the new cap thanks though

Many will argue that caps are a waste of money. Why not put something brand new (Optima Yellowtop) into a brand new car? That battery is far superior to anything that most stock vehicles come with.

okay so now i have spent money on a new car battery, and alternator.
still blowing fuses im running a 80amp inline fuse to the 1 farat cap.the amp blows after three good hits .....i went and bought a 5 farat cap i'm not sure what else to do

i'm running a 4 gage wire.......too a 1 farat cap.......power to a older soundstream rubicon.....driving two r type 12's.........i have a good ground no capping out just blowing of the main line fuse. do you think the 5 farat cap will work........oh i am getting a m50 pg so maybe that will use less power .i dunno
i don't want to put anything back in my car till i get the new cap and amp wich will be this week. so i guess i will just have to wait is all

A cap will have nothing to do with you blowing your fuse, unless its not hooked up properly. I'd suggest you double check all your connection to the battery, and the amp.

On a side not, you say you are "still blowing fuses", wasn't the problem you were having before "I dont know if my cap is working?" .....im just wondering

gqtrebor 05-01-2006 07:13 PM

yea the problem was at first i thought the cap just found out today my car needed a update for voltage breaks while in operation so im thinking thats gotta be the problem casue i have hooked alot of stereo stuff up before and i know what to do for the most part

gqtrebor 05-01-2006 07:13 PM

im going to hook it up now let you knows in a hour or two

gqtrebor 05-01-2006 10:02 PM

seems to be working now i think the old rubicon was just drawing to much power im running a m50 now seems to be good now
