Hey guys, I am just wondering if it will damage my subs if I have one mounted normally and the other one mounted with the magnet outside of a box with no divider?? Is it okay to do this or will be damage one of the subs?? Thanks for any / all help you can give me!!

iso-barik set up. with that you will only need half the size of a normal box. one sub is in the box and one is mounted right on top of the other one. with this just make sure you trunk is seal up good or else you could risk hurting the subs

Knight202 - JL does a good job explaining the various forms: http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/isobarik/index.html
Iso is not used much anymore as woofers use such tiny airspace and are so inefficient these days that there is little point.

The subs would be on each side of a /--\ shape they would not be facing each other... The subs are both Audiobahn DVC and I would like to have one magnet out and one magnet in the box... If its not good for the subs I will just put both magnets out but I would prefer to have one in to display my amps better...
