is this amp and sub a good match? i think the sub is 800watts, right now i have the pdx 1000.1 running a 12" JBL MKII, sounds good and very musical will this kicker be better or same? And how does the L7 compare to the L5?

 

What are you looking to get out of your system?
What size woofer are you talking about?
L7 is better than L5 because 5 is less than 7

 

lol of course 5 is less, but ive read and heard that the L5 was a better choice between the two, dont know why which is why im asking.. its a 12" Kicker S12L7, 2001 i think
i have alot of punch with the JBL in there but im looking for more and ive heard the square subs make punch

 

L7 is skinda sloppy when it comes to SQ. They can get loud, no doubt

 

hm, well i dont know if you know but the JBL sub i have is a very musical SQ sub, trust me.

 

stick with your gti, thats a sweet sub.
