150A ANL Fuse Melted!!
#61
I had the same problem I'll go through how it happened:
1- normally driving along and at a pothole on a roundabout the AMP cut off checked the ANL fuse(150A) and it was blown.
2- I replaced it with the exact same one and turned on the stereo and no sound and saw smoke coming from bonnet checked bonnet and the fuse holder was melting and was close to on fire. Checked the fuse later on and it was fine.
Anyone know what the problem was? I'm running a Rockford fosgate 1001BD AMP with a kicker L7 15" sub with 0 AWG wiring.
Thanks in advance!
