1993 Ford Mustang Install by Selective Sound

First off, it took Davis forever to get my car in. What a **** off, but that should tell you how in demand he is.

My car was treated good there, no 'other' damage came with it which is nice, unlike Car Stereo Warehouse who did a ton of damage to my other ride years ago.

I am very pleased with the craftsmanship by Davis and Max.

About the build

I had bought some of the other gear for my other ride, and had it just sitting around. I bought 90% of the gear from Davis @ Selective Sound.
Though not a huge fan of Rockford at the time, I was pleased with the equipments performance in my daily driver, so I was hooked on it.

My goal was an old school feel / install. MDF, no flashy fiberglass air brushed stuff, not for this car.... its antique

I wanted the install to be stealth yet 'showable' if need be. I had plenty of time to sketch up some ideas, they executed it excellently.

Pros
Install looks sick!
Car sounds great.
Install is stealth.

Cons
No fault of theirs, but my fuel management system and electronics in the car have forced me to order some other products to suppress engine noise.

Why did I opt for Selective Sound?
There was a couple reasons why I chose Selective Sound. I had explored a few options and honestly I was torn between two shops, 1 has since closed. Going with Selective Sounds meant Davis would be using product he supports, going with shop two meant i would be buying all new gear and leaving what i had sitting on my office floor.
I am cheap, so I wanted to use what I had, besides, it worked well for me already.
Davis is also relativly close to major highways etc. Getting there from where I live was easy. Shop 2 was about 2.5 times the distance.
I had spoken with a 1 user who I approached who was willing to build the car as well, but the big issue was my Antique Collector Car Insurance wouldn't allow me to leave it at someones residence.

There were many considerations, and most were put on to me because Davis was soooo backed up. Remember, this was completed this year, I wanted it done last year, but I had to get in line.

Anyhow, enough chatter, here are some photos. Great work Davis and Max.

That's pretty nice. I like the cover over the subs. Looks really sharp like that.

Where are these guys situated? Maybe I'll check them out for a much simpler install.
