2 10s or 4 10s

hey what do you think would be louder 2 10s ported or 4 10s seald the 2 10s ported would be on 1000 rms and the 4 10s seald on about 1800 rms they are the pioneer primeers the older ones with carbonfiber looking dust caps

only thing i see if the seald box not hitting the lows as good?

max demensions are 13 tall 20 deep and 34 wide

In which car?.. and can your electrical system support that much power?.

the 2 10's depending on the port tuning frequency have the potential to be louder.

Each time you double cone area you gain 3DB's, so 2 10's to 4 10's=3db gain (in theory) ported enclosure=3db gain across the board if tuned for flat response. Or Much more gai with higher frequency tuning.

depends which 15 and if it can handle that power thermally and mechanically. and 2-10's ported if tuend for flat response would be the equivalent to 4 10's sealed. 2-10's ported tuned for SPL would be alot louder. but not very musical.

the 15 in a ported box would definately give you the lows with serious authority specially if you tune that low. I don't have my laptop with all my box programs on it so I can't tell you if that box would work that small.
