Lol...smoking the sub and or amp is what I am trying to steer away from...
Maybe a pic of it mounted in the box will suffice for now? Smoking vid another time?

TR5510-44 <<< Link to a MTX sub that would work perfectly with your amp. $150USD at Crutchfield's.

Thanks Tragic. I've been using nothing but MTX's since '97. After all I've been reading here as of late, I think my next one might be an Image Dynamics in a 10"? I want to have a listen to them anyway.

btw that TC-4001 can be "bridge" to run 2ohm from a 4ohm sub. you have 2 + and 2 - on the amp.. just bridge it where it says.

That's exactly what I was wondering danyman! Will the sub (or amp) be hurt by using it that way even though the sub is a 4 ohm?

If you bridge the amp it will put out more power but will still only run at the load the speaker coil is. In this case a 4ohm load. There is no way to make the amp run at 2 ohms without a second sub. The amp doesn't create the load... the sub does.

Crazy, the iDMax 10 D2 V.3 has a frequency response of 5-110Hz. How much are they worth, I wonder?
