You can do this, but you have to be careful... It's much easier to use a pair of strappable amps when dealing with a single sub, but if yours are not strappable, you'll have to gain match them very carefully. Get a good digital multimeter and take turns adjusting the gain on each of the amps until they give as close a reading to each other as possible (in AC volts).

Sorry, yes, same amps. They aren't strappable though....
Just a little help with the multimeter thing... I'm fairly handy with the whole audio thing, however I've never played with the multimeters....
You just touch the end to the (+) wire and measure voltage???
