Pretty simple and basic but sometimes that's all you need. I like vinyl for it's more-factory and cleaner look. One thing I question though is why do the trims for the amps look like add-ons? Why not have them flush with the surrounding panel?

the trims hold the glass in place, remove the trim, remove the glass, remove the amp without having to take the entire floor trim out which requires the removal of the woofers because they are so close to the floor

Ahh I see, so the glass rests on a small ledge where say usually the trim panels rests eh? How does it sound?

that right, its a great sounding car, phenominal deep bass extension, dts is a bit weak due to center channel placement, but overall a good sounding car that didnt break the bank

Are those ripples on the tweeter trim rings?

Defro, if you don't mind me asking; how many hours would you charge for an install like that? what's a piece of aluminum, machined like that, cost approximately? Love the look of the aluminum baffle in the Neon and this install.

the install took 10 days, the aluminum was about 250$ polished. the deck install was fairly complicated. we had to take the factory radio apart and make a mold of factory bezel to get the factory dash line to go through the kit
