2007 BMW 335i Coupe Installs?

Hi All!

Was wondering if anyone has had experience in upgrading the sound in a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe? I don't wanna do anything crazy -- I think my first step will be to swap out the stock 4" speakers with a better set wired to a different amp. I don't want to swap the stock HU to keep steering controls, stock look etc.

Any tips, info, specific experience, or referrals to installers in the 604 who has had experience working on these cars would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

get the audio clean sweep to tweak out your stock system then add a nice amp onto your speakers , but i would change the head but its all up to you dude its better that way. I have a set of imagedynamics 4 inch i used for the rears and a set of boston rally 4 inch in the rear i can sell ya for $200 came out of my 06 330

i hear you about the head...but it'd just kill the interior lines IMO

oh and do you represent a shop in the 604? if so, which one??

the amp i would look at is an audison or focal then focal speakers and sub and a audiocontrol unit to the stock deck if i'm trying to keep the look

Lots of things that you can do in the BMW. Ideally to keep the factory headunit intact with all it's integrated controls, you need a interface adaptor from one of many companies, JL Audio Cleansweep, Rockford Fosgate 360 or any one of the numberous Audio Control adaptors that work great.

I am located on the island, drop me a line tomorrow during the day if you like, 1-888-881-9911 or add me to msn, forbidden@telus.net and we can discuss options.

Alpine offers the vehicle hub pro, which does much the same thing.

they are all great solutions, just depends what company you want to give your money to

thank you all for the great advice -- much appreciated!

i guess my concern is finding the right speakers that will give me a noticeable gain for a reasonable price, same with the amp, and not having to do any cutting, splicing etc.

edit: and apparently i only have a 2" mounting depth to work with in the 335i...limits my choice of speaks yes?

You are going to have to do some splicing to get the signal to the interface adaptor. This is minor and will in no way affect the warranty on the vehicle. There are options for speakers, I will start having a look around for some of them.

the focal 100k2ps need 46mm and need 50-100 to power them and the audison 4.300 would work

^^^^ You didn't hear yet? Audison no longer works with Focal, it only works with Hertz.
