The time has come for my next big install!

Install is booked for Feb. 8th.


The car is a 2012 Cruze ECO. The following gear is to be installed.

SOURCE
Headunit - DEX-P99RS

DRIVERS
Tweeters - ML 28
Mids - L3SE
Woofers - ML 165
Subwoofers - 2 x 12" IDMax
Shaker - Buttkicker MINI

AMPS
(tweeter & mid) - PRS-A900
(woofer) - PRS-A900
(subwoofer) - PRS-D1200SPL
(shaker) - GM-D7400M

and a lot of install related gear (dampening, second battery, etc.)



Stock locations will be utilized for tweeter and woofers.
Mids will be installed in custom sail panel enclosures.

shaker under the drivers seat, with its accompanying amp under the passengers.

the two A900s will be installed in a convenient pocket in the trunk found in the ECO version of the cruze.

the subs will be in separate rear-firing sealed enclosures with their accompanying amp somewhere hidden between or behind them.

why is CCA so stringent with the requirements for picture size?

The Cruze shown is the vehicle that the gear is going into!

The sail panels shown are those found in Scott Buwalda's G35. I am essentially copying these (same drivers and placement being used)

I'm going to do my best to keep the updates coming.

I'm going from one 10" IDMax to two 12". So I'm sure I'll be happy with the output. They are fantastic subwoofers.

That is what the trunk looks like.

The A900's have already been mocked up, and fit perfectly side by side in the cavity.
A false floor with a couple fans will be built to make this area flush with the rest of the trunk.

The second battery will be placed in the pocket behind the wheel well seen here. It will be hidden from view.





The G35 posted before is intended result. This picture is the dash that is being worked with.


The sail panel area is nice and deep and will provide the ability to be built out a bit without looking out of place.

 

I don't know how I haven't figured that out over the past few years haha.
