250W Sub Suggestions.

Hi

Looking for a single 10" Sub that will be powered by an Amp of 250W RMS at 4 OHM.

Any suggestions?

The PolkMomo is a good woofer. It would likely appreciate a bit more power though.

its says 50-300W, is a 250W Amp not powerful enough?

Rockford P2...They get decently loud off of ~200 watts.

I second Peerless sub, but Momo is not very efficient, so does not do well on 250 watts.

what would be a "rule of thumb" when it comes to subs and amps as far as the RMS of amp to sub???

is it 2 to 1 (eg; 400w amp for a 200w sub???)
