3 15" subwoofers

Hey i just bought a 97 jeep grand cherokee i plan on lifting and putting 3 15" subs in it, I am somewhat on a budget and only want to spend around $500-800 on a nice system, I have the wires and head unit, a pioneer avic d3 deck, and i have the component speaker I just wasn't sure what subwoofers and amp sounds nice? I was thinking of buying three SPL SP3-15's but i haven't heard of that brand or sub and wondering if it would be good, i also wasn't sure of an amp but i want one that can push at least 3000 watts rms.... do you think those subs would be good? I want something that could make my back window break and flex my ride like crazy if i turn it up alot.

You will require good electrical to run 3kw. 0 guage wiring, big 3 upgrades under the hood, a nice big AGM battery in the trunk or two, and a high output alternator would be a good way to go. All those already are going to exceed 500-800 most likely. You might get away without the alternator upgrade if you keep it within 3k and have good batteries.

If you are unwilling to make electrical upgrades, I wouldn't run more then 1000w - 1500w RMS, and still run good quality wire. Three decent 15s (I.e NOT made by SPL for example) with a well designed ported box can get pretty damn loud, if you have the room. Two 15s might be a better bet.

I do have a new alternator and i planned on buying a yellow cap, i yet to do the big 3 but plan on it... and i have someone who would trade me 4 hx2's for my deck and i was wondering if the rockford fosgate hx2's are any good at all?? if i had those i would probably try to do 900 watts to each?

Before you buy anything get an amp first then build your system around that, it will determine your subs and amount of electrical needed to support the added amperage to your alternator.

Which HX2s? What size and are they Punch or Power? Both are great subs, Power series have a 4" coil and will take more power.

i believe they are the Punch and i don't know which amp i was planning around a 3000 watt so i could put 1000 into each subwoofer
