3 15" subwoofers
Hey i just bought a 97 jeep grand cherokee i plan on lifting and putting 3 15" subs in it, I am somewhat on a budget and only want to spend around $500-800 on a nice system, I have the wires and head unit, a pioneer avic d3 deck, and i have the component speaker I just wasn't sure what subwoofers and amp sounds nice? I was thinking of buying three SPL SP3-15's but i haven't heard of that brand or sub and wondering if it would be good, i also wasn't sure of an amp but i want one that can push at least 3000 watts rms.... do you think those subs would be good? I want something that could make my back window break and flex my ride like crazy if i turn it up alot.

You will require good electrical to run 3kw. 0 guage wiring, big 3 upgrades under the hood, a nice big AGM battery in the trunk or two, and a high output alternator would be a good way to go. All those already are going to exceed 500-800 most likely. You might get away without the alternator upgrade if you keep it within 3k and have good batteries.
If you are unwilling to make electrical upgrades, I wouldn't run more then 1000w - 1500w RMS, and still run good quality wire. Three decent 15s (I.e NOT made by SPL for example) with a well designed ported box can get pretty damn loud, if you have the room. Two 15s might be a better bet.

I do have a new alternator and i planned on buying a yellow cap, i yet to do the big 3 but plan on it... and i have someone who would trade me 4 hx2's for my deck and i was wondering if the rockford fosgate hx2's are any good at all?? if i had those i would probably try to do 900 watts to each?
