4 Channel Amp Question

yes that can be done if the amp is able to do 2 ch mode. all you would do is connect the front to channel 1 and 2 then have the 3 and 4 sumed together. (Or briged )

ZZZZZZZ, Tweets dont take enough power to warrant their own channel you would be better off bridging that 4ch into 2 and reconnecting the tweets to the mids

I know what it sounds like i used to have my tweets on their own channel then i wised up and bridged my amp. Briging will make your mids louder without affecting the tweets all that much, they'll actually get louder too but you wont notice. The reason for this is because the tweets dont draw the same frequencies. Not just that the only way powering tweets on there own is advantagous is if you can filter out all but your tweeter freqs BEFORE they get to the amp or else its making the lower freqs anyways for no reason and countering what you are trying to accomplish.

I agree, I like that answer..... I have a stereo amp for each door, ch1 mid, ch2 tweeter.
Get another amp for subs.
