The main factor is box size IMO... it can be hard to get good midbass out of a kickpanel because they are generally pretty small...

You can only add power up to a point...

Well if you put midbass in doors there is not much space there either, what is the difference?

IB into the door should give LOTS of space.. just make sure you seal the rest of the door off with deadening...

ok, so midbass in the doors. Now on to more research, have to find a good set of midbass.
