trying to decide between Hertz Hi Energy, Morel Tempo, and a couple of Pioneer models which interest me because they claim freq response down to 35hz

I'll be running 2 pairs, fronts and rears and will probably run the rears off head unit power till I get a 5 channel amp for all speakers and my sub, right now using a 4 channel amp for fronts and sub only

suggestions? please and thanks

35hz is a big claim... its lower than the lowest note on a properly tuned bass guitar to put it in perspective

 

bestcovery rates them well and mentions good bass, not sure how legit that site is though

 

35 hz is meant for a sub....not a door speaker...lol

 

I have the Hertz Energy 5.25 in my Subaru and the Morel Tempo 5x7 in my Mada 3 and I prefer the Hetrz for highs but the Tempos have better mid-bass for sure. Just ensure you seal the doors and speakers if you want maximum kick from them.

 

I too would short list the Morel speakers for sure.
