I'm looking for a 5 channel amp to run my system.

I can get the JL 500/5 for about $475 the Focal FP 5.500 is around twice that. Is the Focal worth the extra money.

My planned set up is...
Front end - Focal 165 KF
Doors - MB Quart QSC 164 (2 sets)
Sub - either JL 10w6 or Focal 27V2

Suggestions/advice please.................

 

have you looked at the audison, hz, pg ROADSTER 66 ,Zapco,McIntosh, Tru Technology ,

 

Audison is out of my price range.
Does Zapco & McIntosh make a 5 channel....I see they make a 6.

What do you think of the JL and the Focal?

i would ask him about the 6ch audison that amp does 2x75 2x75 1x330 bridged (if it is the vrx6.420 )
if you get a focal get a new one the 1st amps out had thing that got fixed and now are ok
jl i like but i would look at the audisons
