Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my factory speakers.

The two types of speakers I am looking at are:

JL Audio TR570CXI about $190 a pair.

&

Infinity Kappa 572.5cf about $150 a pair.


What do you guys think I should go with? I want something nice and crisp that can thump nicely.


Your suggestions/comments are appreciated.

Infinity.

 

Both are nice the Infinity is a little 'crisper' sounding... neither will thump though but they are fairly accurate drivers that sound good

 

This may not be an option for you, but you may want to consider putting some CDT-CL61's in, instead. They will need adapter plates made as they are 6.5" speakers, but for the price, they have to be the best sounding speakers available. Well worth the extra trouble. Did I mention, they have great midbass??

Alpine SPS570A

 

I have the JL's, but paid $60US brand new for 'em. I think they're pretty nice for the 5x7 category, they sound good.

Well, I like all the ideas, but out of the two I picked it looks like Infinity is what the majority like, so it looks like I may be getting them.

thanks for all the help guys, if anyone has a big reason why I should not get the infinity speakers, please let me know.

 

SPS571A. A 5x7 component is pretty sweet for a factory replacement. Kinda like the new dodge rams with 6x9 components in the doors and some of the new cavaliers and sunflowers with 4x6 components.
