I am thinking of getting some basic Pioneer coaxial speakers for the front and back of my Corolla. Should I be getting 2ways for the front and 3ways for the back?

I know component speakers are better, but I don't want to spend the money on it.

Also can you recommend decent coaxial speakers that are in the price range of pioneer.

 

Most will suggest that you leave your rear speakers stock. Use that money to get a better set of front speakers.
In my wife's Accent, that's precisely what we did.
If you do get something for the rear, find some without any tweeters.

 

the mtx sounds better than the pioneer that your prob looking at.. and just a few bux extra
