6 ohm dvc:
parallel: 3 ohms
series: 12 ohms

i think a 4 ohm amp can do 12 ohms, but will have very little power

it should probably be able to do a 3 ohm load aswell, but WILL get hot, and have a HIGH chance of blowing.

your best bet is to go for another sub or amp. these two cannot be matched properly.

^ You should probably start shopping at some real audio stores instead of Xs Cargo.

if you have two of those dual 6 ohm subs you can get a 1.5 or 3 6 ohm load

look for a 1 ohm stable amp if u wanna wire it to 1.5 ohms

and a 4 ohm amp can deal with the 6 ohm load easily and wont loose too much power.

So do you think an orion 1200d would run both of these at 1 ohm stable or an orion 1200d for each sub becuase i kind of want more powere but i think that might be a bit too much for the subs.

what is the rms rating on your subs.

i think even one orion 1200d will be total overkill for those subs.

i think that 1200 watt rating is probably max.

3 ohms shouldn't kill your amp it will get warmer but not that much more hot. give it a try see if it works.

on a fosgate 700s, i tried running a 3 ohm load (dual 1.5 driver) and it got very hot, as well the power sound would stop everytime too many bass hits happened and then start again a second later.
