i have just got my hands on two 8" shaker subwoofers

my first question is, who actually makes Shaker subs, and also how come i cant find any information on them

and what would make them sound better, a sealed or ported box?

 

Shaker is the factory Upgrade system used in some ford vehicles, if thats the case with this subwoofer i would most definitely use it in a sealed box!

 

What sub is in your display pic Gen1, LMS5400 with a diff motor?

 

Good eye rbgnwa45! Not marketed as lm series or anything, but Tc Did manufacture it.

 

i did a little research and if you got two of them it i would bet that they are out of a ford mustang with a Shaker 1000 upgrade system! they used 2 8" shaker subs in the premium upgrade system for the newer mustangs!
