Sure its great that Davis is stepping up and getting it taken care of, but what if the job was being done for someone that wasn't from the forum? and this post never happened?

Then what? Would things have been different?

Not hacking on anybody, Selective Does good work whether it was a bad time or not it really shouldn't have happened.

My 0.02 is all

Mistakes happen and you have to man up and take care of business. But this sounds odd in the way it was handled, especially because of the time involved. A blemish on SS's record for sure. And in this industry, you can't afford that.

Making our customers happy is my top priority, Whether he posted on here or just talked to me, I would have done anything to make the situation better. Sometimes things don't work out at first but aslong as you are willing to fix any issues than that is what makes you a true professional. Now I have seen you guys giving a lot of opinions here but you have to remember there are two sides to every story. At the end I am man enough to deal with this issue and make sure that Dan, who by the way is great and understaning guy is going to be truly blown away with the end result. I am going above and beyond to make sure that this time he will be more than happy.

Now for the real question, has the fiasco of last years events squashed any chance of a Voice Coil Meltdown this year?

yes guys, Davis has truly stepped up to the plate. he has been in touch with me a few times this week about the progress and ask me a few questions.

as i have stated already Davis is a standup guy and ive seen his work and believe me i would not have trusted my truck to anyone else. yes there was mistakes made but they are being taken care of. just the way he installs the most basic of alarm systems. i have never seen any shop take the time to do it right from beginning to end. his work is very neat and clean.

give him a chance
i will post pics when its all said and done..

thanks Davis

Dan

Well, it's great that it's all hugs and kisses now. It's awesome to hear this thing is back on the rails. But the fact of the matter is you laid out the laundry on the table. So let's call a spade a spade. The treatment you're getting is damage control and nothing more. Don't make it sound like all of a sudden everything is all solid gold. That's a pile of BS. This is a customer service industry and should NOT have happened. End of story. Davis may do great work and that's fine. But it should be ALL the time so that this sort of thing doesn't happen. Some of the stuff you posted was f-ed up
