90 Vert Mustang Stereo thoughts...

I have a project vehicle I been working on, its a 90 vert Mustang.

I have 3 2150sx Orion (old school), likely will use 1 for subs in the trunk.

Now, I have nothing else though there is a member here selling 2 HCCAs and or 2 Orion SX for which I would use for mids and highs. Its my choice but I am curious to hear what people have to say.
Options are:
2- HCCA 225
or
1 275sx
1 250sx

I am looking to have some great cabin sound since the top will be down. Custom kicks or speaker pods on the door is ok. Generally a Mustang has 6 speakers. I am interested in custom doors and perhaps 4 6.5s up front, 2 tweeters and something in the rear as well as the dash speakers (8 total)

This car is a budget build, used equipment is ok.

So what do I need??

Head Unit
Mids & Highs
I have my 3 rockford 12's, I could likely use two of them so we are ok there.
Custom enclosure for the subs and doors

What are your thoughts on the selection between old school orion amps for mids and highs and knowing that I want to run about 8 speakers in the cabin.

Any other input or experience that you would like to add which pertains to an audio build in a vert?

I'd just use the other two 2150s for the front end. Can't never have too much power

Thanks for the input. I knew posting on CCA would help me find the right solution.

Ditto on what Dukk said. You're going to want that power especially with the top down.

It's been a while since I looked in the trunk of one of those convertibles but often we put two 12's and ran them IB in the trunks of the FOX bodies as the trunk made it difficult to get a decent enclosure in there. Could that work for you or is the roof-top mechanics in the way?

The truck is ultra tight. I have seen some people remove the spare tire and use the well as part of the enclosure, that might be the only option. I would maybe do 4 10's or 8 if that allowed for a smaller enclosure.

Ill snap a pick when im out at the car to give an idea on the space.

Doubtful, You'd have better luck with 3 12's than 4 10's

That extra 10 will just be more internal displacement and make the enclosure even more complicated to design..
