Hey guys, thanks for all of your help!! I saw yesterday that there were only 2 semi warm days before jack frost struck so I got my stuff together and threw this together! The car is a 2000 jetta... I started from scratch yesterday so I think it went well for 2 full days of work!

MTX amps only because the color matched with the theme I wanted, JL 15w0 sub and infinity referances in the doors... Only problem now is that the whole freakin car rattles and when your outside it sounds like **** but inside it is pounding!!! lol I have ordered 100 square feet of sound deadening but I guess I wont be able to get it installed untill spring... Anyone know how much stereo shops charge to install sound deadening in the 4 doors and lid of the trunk?!?

Is there anything else I should be doing to keep my car from sounding like a tin can on the outside??? LOL I know the doors in the jetta are notorious for rattling... If i sound deaden the doors and trunk is that what you need to do to stop the vibrating metal sounds?!?!?

I love Jettas and yours looks very good. Do you have any interior pictures as well? I'd love to get a TDI after college sometime...

100sqft of deadening will certainly help! Also the licence plate usually rattles on most cars. Apply some weatherstripping stuff to the back cna fix that. Listen to where rattles are coming from then get on it.

Thanks Gene!! I am definatly going to get some sound deadening installed ASAP!! As for locating the rattles, I thinks thats going to be hard since when I step outside of the car it sounds like the whole thing is rattling.. hah hah!! Well actually I think its mostly the doors (they even rattled just when I installed my mids) and the trunk is rattling a little... I will definatly fix my license plate up tommorow, thanks for the tips!!
