why on crutchfield when u go and put your car in to see what fits it it says 6x9 wnt fit the rear deck but if u do the same thing on sound domain it says they fit?

 

perhaps that is a clue as to the reliability of such searches.

Just go out to your car and take a look at whats in there.

 

What kind of car is it ? Different models get different things, and stuff can even be different depending on which plant it is made in.............................we see this all the time with Chevy and Ford..................

 

its a 97 chevy cavalier

 

I have seen some newer cavs that don't take 6x9s and a 5x7 drops into the hole..............
