As the title says, what should I use to clean down the doors?

Use HushMat and you won't have to clean them, it'll stick to anything.

I used a house brand degreaser from an auto supply store and it worked great. It was mainly an alcohol base which isn't nice to work with in the confined space of the car so make sure there is lots of ventilation. Cost me less than $3...

alcohol evaporates and is easier clean up imo. I could just see someone using soap and water with it being half wet and trying to get it to stick ><

isoproponol or denatured ethanol will work; but acetone will work better....

If it's greasy...laquer thinner, or thinner mixed with gas line antifreeze(methyl hydrate). Just don't get it anywhere else. And do use ventilation.

So how much should I clean the doors? I started rubbing isopropyl alcohol over it but there doesnt seem to be any dirt on the panels. If I go over the entire panel once will it be enough?

Lightbulb

^ Yes. All I aim for is to get the dust and any grease off the panel.

I have the panels sound deadened but I before I could do that I had to take off a plastic liner which covered the inner door panel. Should I put this back on over the sound deadener?
