adding another subwoofer

hey, i gotta quick question. i have a pioneer 12" 800 watt sub. i was wondering if i added another subwoofer but like a different brand with it. would it sound good still?

might?? if it's in the same box, sharing air...no! powered by the same amp, playing the same range of frequencies...probably not. My recommendation is to either get another sub the same as what you have, or sell what you have and get two of the one you want to add (if you've got a woody for that one).

I'd say not a chance... .different subs, specs (xMax, sensitivity etc). Nope, do it right or leave it the way it is.
