i came to seek assistance.i have purchased some gear and have questions.
hu eclipse cd 5000 infinity kappa 60.7 and 63.7(got em dirt cheap) nakamichi pa504. with the 8 volt pre out hu, 4 volt input amp is there any issues or just turn down the gains. also i am thinking of enclosing the speakers (99 integra) gonna be small enclosures, any advantage, should i port to allow air? as i said anything that can be helpful will be appreciated (hope this is the right forum

 

I am running high voltage Eclipse 8445 hu, and have gains all the way down on both my amps. Earlier, I had gains up a bit higher, but had no problems what so ever. I would keep my gains as low as possible to get the best signal to noise ratio, but otherwise, whatever sounds good to you.
