Will this amp and speakers be a good match PLZ HELP

Hi i have recently bought the amp i have given its link below and i want to buy the speakers (link is given below) can some of you experts help me and tell me will this be a good combination or the speakers will be weak wtih this amp and wont sound good or there is a possibility of blowing up the speakers with that amp.Thank You

I was 'green' too when I joined the forum in '08. So its nice to be able to return the favor, so to speak.

Any thoughts on that amp/speaker combo. I suggested that they aren't really a good fit. But I thought he should get a few more opinions that mine alone.

What I don't understand is JBL's "true 4ohm" technology based on 2 ohm speakers. I understand how they're trying to explain it, but aren't sure its factual. By their logic, then hooking up a 4 ohm speaker will create a larger load at the amp, and its output will be reduced...?

That's their stance - that once you consider the impedance of the wire, loading, and any sort of temp. rise, etc that a 2ohm speaker is a better fit for a 4ohm amplifier.

Some clever marketeering involved there.
