Just wondering if anyone knew of any good aftermarket 12v batteries that would fit a 2000 Acura EL? Honda batteries are tiny.

I've seen those new Optima yellow tops for imports, anyone used one before? I dont want a secondary battery, I'm just looking to replace my primary (so it has to be able to start well)

Hawker Odyssey makes some killer batterys..

If one will fit you can find them cheap Here

You could probably even email them to find out..

Yeah, I saw the Yellow top's that you are talking about. They look pretty good.

Do yellow tops traditionally have the same starting/cranking capability of an OEM battery?

I would think that it would have better cold cranking amps but maybe check the www.optimabatteries.com website and see for yourself.
