i can't hear my system. i have the gain turned up to 3/4 of the way on my amp and i have the volume on the deck at 20 and i can barly hear it. for those who need to know, i have a clarion apa250 amp, fusion fes525-5.25 speakers in the front and a clarion DXZ545MP-hu. and not that it matters i have clarion SRR6985 6X9's in the rear fill.(yes i know, i don't have any sub's) i had it working good a couple day's ago, but i had to do some rewireing. i think i may have screwed soemthing up while doing the wiring. it can't be the cd, cause i tryed a couple diffrent ones. could i mabey have the settings on my deck messed up?

could some one lend me some advise, thx
tyler

Possibly turned/moved crossovers either on the HU or the amp.
If the HU has adjustable levels on the outputs maybe those are changed also.

Yup.. first thing I'd do is check the crossover settings on the amp.

If not that then it may be one of the settings on your HU.

To fix that I would just disconnect the wirign harness for a minute to reset everything back to factory settings

(unless there is another way of resetting it all, but I don't know of one)

k i'll go reset my deck and check the settings on the amp. and as for the rewiring. i had a sub hooked up to my amp and i didn't like it so i took it off. so i had to hook all the wires back up again that i disconnected, so my front speakers would work off the amp.

k i fixed it. i think i just had the wrong freq setting on the deck, i should have know that. it's fixed now, im going to see if i can make it a bit louder by turing the gain up.

edit: no it did not take me like 40 mins to fix this problem, im in school, im not just going to walk out of class. you have to wait for the perfect moment to get out.

Be careful with that... remember, the gain **** is NOT a volume control
