is 1177.00 a resonable price for a clifford matrix system, with a 2nd 2 way remote, a 1 way remote for at work (I'm usually away from the office in a company vehicle, so mine sits there @ the shop) keyless entry, remote start, and the radar sensor?

Edit: The car is a 2000 civic hatchback, 5 speed, no power locks installed yet...

the expensive part was the 2nd 2 way remote and the 3rd remote, the 1 way one.
otherwise, it'd be about 800

The new compustar's are amazing, a nice upgrade to the old models.

Clifford or not, that seems outragious to me.

Granted, I'm just over the border near Niagara Falls, so our shop deals in US dollars...
But the installed price for a Crimestopper 2011FM alarm (their 2-way pager alarm / remote start combo) is $299 installed, and still only about $375 after you add on the optional goodies like keyless entry, hatch pop, and the window rollup module (at least, if you already have power windows and locks).

But do the conversion... what's that work out to in Canadian? About $500? That's still less than half of that Clifford.

i have the matrix RSX 3.5 and i paid $320 for the alarm and $100 to install it, so $420 installed. Extra 2-way remotes are about $150 and the 1-way is probably around $80ish im guessing. $1177.00 seems a bit much, where are you getting this done?

I would recommend the new compustar 5000 or 9000 i think it is, the new white remote shaped like a banana. So far that alarm has the best range ive ever seen and comes with the extra 1-way remote also. The extra 2-way remote is less than the clifford unit aswell. The price of a new compustar installed is about $575 tax in.

Give Jeff a call at Lockdown (647)-435-5896 and im sure he can help you out with a compustar or DEI alarm
