I too had a problem with my staging being too low.. so I simply added some tweeters to raise the sounstage. It sounds so much better now. Mind you it's not really going to work unless you heavily attenuate the second set of tweets otherwise you're gonna have major phasing issues. But if done properly it just fills out front of the car better.. almost like a center channel.

WOW!
Very nice work Christian. The finish matches up really well, and it appears theres lots of room for that 4" mid to work.
I think you are the first person I've ever seen having a larger tweeter than a midrange in a car though.
Just a general note to anyone working on an E46 chassis door: The coupe and sedan door panels are different. There is slightly less depth to the sedan interior trim panel, and the sedan door is about 2/3rds the length of the coupe door. If you are going to build out from the existing door panel to mount a midbass driver, be aware of where the glove box drops down to. It's very close to the existing door panel.
Nice clean work on the dash too. Just an easy tip for you though: You can relocate the HVAC controls down to where your H700 display is really easily. You'll find it easier to read and operate the H700 display that way.
