East Alpine 3545's and 10" Black Magic subs

I am newish to the world of subs, amps etc. I have 4 Alpine 3545 amps and have built a box to go behind the seat of my 91 Chev fullsize pickup. I have a pair of old Black Magic subs (10").. I was wondering how I should wire this setup for the best performance. What gauge wire do I need going to the amp from the battery? Do I need the huge speaker wire from the amp to the subs or can I use 10Ga, 16Ga, 22Ga speaker wire? Also since I have 4 of the amps I was wondering if I should just use 1 amp, and wire the subs in parallel, or should I use 2 amps, bridge both and run one to each sub.. From what I understand these amps are rated at 250WX2@4Ohms,
350WX2@2ohms and 700WX1@4ohms bridged.. Sorry for all the questions but I would rather do it right the first time..

Thanks
Shane.

wow, you have some serious old school gold there! those alpines are rare and there is some good demand for them out there. i would personally bridge one amp per sub (assuming they are single 4 ohm each) to get the most out of those subs alhtough i also figure you could also get away with 1 single amp running stereo to the subs. that would give you alot of amplifiers and power for your front end... yum!
10 gauge is plenty and even 12 gauge will more than do for those subs.
if you want to do it right the first time, use 0 gauge wire from the battery to the rear and 4 gauge to each amp is plentiful.

pm me if you want additional info.

I would agree with what Marco said. I'm not familiar with those subs, but if they are a little older, those 3545's will be more then plenty to have one bridged per sub. I have two 3545's myself. Any interest in selling the ones you have?

yeah, sux 2bu, i thought about the refurb you did on one or two of those. came out nice. you know their worth. but for someone too fresh to remember those alpines, it would be the same money spent on something more current and dynamic (dsp enchanced amps for example)with overall better performance of a nice simple system. you two should bargain.

WOW!! Black Magic subs......havent heard of those in years.
I still remember trying to decide between the Black Magic gear or the Redline gear for my old Chevy.

BTW - I would bridge the amps and run one per sub, then run another amp for some nice power to your components up front - then sell me the last remaining amp :P

I ended up just using one amp. It booms plenty enough for me inside a small regular cab pickup.. Those subs are old but they still sound great, I was amazed..
