I have an Alpine 9811 that I am using for the tuner and to control a changer (with digital out that goes to my 700 processor) and when I turn the rotary volume ****, sometimes I hear a "blip" in the sound...not an audible noise...more a microsecond of no sound at all...

Is this normal???

well first off i would like to say, Ilike your setup. I have used Image for a long time and love it.

I know what your talkin about when you say this. I don't think its anything to worry about. But i may be wrong.

 

Thanks for the compliment...I like my set up too...when you get the ID right, it sounds great...when it's not, well, that's another story...

I'm not so much worried about the problem as much as it is annoying...it's an interuption in the sound...
