i have this deck and it's only producing 1 volt in all of its rca outs. Front, rear and sub - all 1 volt at full volume.

Is there a feature on the deck which controls this or is this deck broken?

 

how did you measure it? 0db tone, what frequency, multimeter?

 

I find when my deck does that its related to the power getting interupted on the deck which resets all of the bass boost and loudness and sub control features which tends to greatly reduce the output. Did you disconnect the battery recently?

 

there's also 'defeat' function i think. check it out.

 

I have seen this before as well Iouli seems the problem is its Pine. lol

 

i measured it with 0 db tone. defeat was OFF and i used a multimeter on the rca outs. measured it at full volume on the deck.

all the settings were set at their normal levels.

are there any other functions other than Defeat that could decrease the output signal? The 1 volt signal is on all of the outputs - front, rear and sub.

Tom does your alpine deck have Loundess setting?

 

Mine does. If you push the volume button down and hold it for 5 seconds, Loud turns on. Yours might be different, but its worth a shot.

yuli.mine does the same thing after the battery has bin unhooked.i need to go into advanced MX settings and reset everything.i have the alpine D-310

 

my D310 has MX settings and they also reset, i know this.

does the 9855 have same MX settings somewhere?
