9887 simply because of its imprint capability and because eclipse is the best cd player line you will ever see for breaking down consistantly.....in terms of piles of crap cd players.......eclipse is the president and founder

 

and thats their high end deck....it stands to reason that the trickle down crappiness entends further down their headunit line into their entry level piles of crap....every eclipse deck should come with a roll of buttwipe to clean up the crap and a few breath mints to cover up the smell

 

the 2006/2007 line and sold them for around a decade before that....just sold our last eclipse pile of crap last week...a cd7000.....half the display was burnt out right outta the box(typical).....but i sold it for 99 bucks just to get rid of it....told the guy no warranty and he was ok with it, but he wanted a cheap deck....and thats what he got....cheap quality, cheaply built and destined to fail in one shape or form.....it was so destined to fail that it broke before we even installed it......eclipse is like a boomerang.....it just keep coming back
