Alpine dealer with good pricing in Ontario?

Looking to buy an Alpine MRP-M350 amp and
Alpine SWR-1041D Type-R 10" sub.

One dealer's price was (Peel Auto Video):
$320CDN+tax for amp
$180CDN+tax for sub

Another was (Altered Sound):
$575 tax incl. (retail $350 for amp, and $299
for sub). This is the same dude who sold me my
deck.

The Amp is availble on eBay and stuff for $125USD
and it comes from states so shipping is like
$25USD or so. And the sub is about $100USD + $25 shipping on eBay.

So if I went with eBay, I'm looking at about
$275USD ($375CDN) as long as I can convince the
eBay seller to put a low item value so I don't
get charged duty tax.

Anyone?

I had a good Alpine buying experience with Number 1 Sound down at Dufferin and College. George is the owner's name and he is a good guy to deal with.

j/k he got a good experience after i did [img]smile.gif[/img] . j/k. ya we both did. i recommend ya drop by their. was very helpfull and informative.

Ranger_Custom. have ya install it yet, or do you need a hand from me [img]smile.gif[/img] . i just might need help on setting up my sub amp when i have the damm time to build the box for the sub. email me. lates.

You'll have to deal with them .. you should be able to get the 10 inch Type R for 165 + tax
Brand new .. Authorized dealer .. They do sell amps also, but I didn't see which ones they carry

Called up Number 1 Sound and here's their quote:

Amp: $329
Sub: $249
With taxes that's like $667CDN.

I could get a deal if I came in but I doubt I'd
get anything like $100 knocked off...

I have a few eBay sellers lined up that can send
the amp for around $160USD to $170USD shipped.
That's like $240CDN (and they'd help out with
customs/duty tax).

I'd help out local dealers but I'm better off
saving money myself. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The first quote you recieved from peel is the best one I would say..

Buy from them, you have warranty and all will be better!

Or other people on the board could help you out... Certain Alpine dealers... [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] but who?

Wow, got off the phone with Teletime shop
and was quoted:
AMP: $299
Sub: $149 ($515 after tax)

And I could probablly get a deal if I come by.

If I can get that under $500, I am so getting it.
Unless I can find an eBay deal for less. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I just realized. $149 is kinda low and I think
I may have gotten the wrong quote. Oh well,
I'm heading down there tomorrow with cash in hand.
