Alpine deck problem

it's a newer alpine deck 9885 or something.

when it's plugged in, you push the source button and all it does is flash once (the face) and nothing else.

does the same when you try to insert a disk.

is it done?

try to clean the contacts behind the faceplate. I assume it's connected properly

take it outside and smash it with a SLUDGE HAMMER then go buy another POS alpine or better yet get KENWOOD- something that works

I agree, let the alpine die a horrible death. Have it sentenced to death by sledgehammer and have the sentence carried out live on youtube.

Or.... You could try re-setting the deck might just be a glitch. There should be a re-set hole under the faceplate that will set it back to default settings. If not disconnect all power, and re-connect after 30 seconds.
