Well, I'm happy with my 9835 up to now, but I'm considering adding an EQ. Someone offered me a used EQ 3339 for $80 ... it's just missing the manual. Brain and wiring is there. It's an 11 band EQ, and probably much easier to use then the factory 9835 EQ. What I want to know is, is it a good buy? Is it worth putting it in? Whats are the preout voltages? I can't find too much info on it, excet thats it's 11 bands.

Nice eq back in the day. I love spectrum displays For $80, get it if it is in decent condition. They sell for about $100 US on Ebay. That was an EQ made back in the day of 0.5V preout voltages but IMO I wouldn't worry too much about that considering most voltage output ratings are not 100% continuous RMS ratings but more of a peak rating. Kinda like RMS ratings of amplifier output.

well, it's only $80 .... and good knows I've made much more expensive mistakes then that, so I guess I'll PM the seller again and take it.
