First of all... why stuck on alpine?? IMHO you can do far better for that kind of $$$$ and second... unless you've fixed yer car insurance issues are you planning to listen to this thing in your living room?

 

Why does everyone have to give their "ho", just answer the question. Maybe the guy likes alpine despite your "ho". Anyway, i haven't seen one anywhere lately for a really good price. I suggest you keep an eye on the for sale section as those amps pop up occasionally.

 

i did this once for a rockford fosgate amp. i went to a best buy that didnt have the amp i wanted in stock, but they had a display model. i asked if they would sell me the display model with an 'open box' price. turns out the manager said sure and i got the amp for an 'open box' price. if you can, do the same at a bestbuy and you'll get a decent price.

 

Because maybe... just maybe someone's HO might save someone 1/2 the price for twice the amp. Actually A LOT is premised on HO in the whole forum almost... I'd say if you want fact only you should try looking at your tax return because 1/2 the evening news is also about HO of various people.

I tried as well and he would not respond to my requests either. I don't want a person as a customer when they cannot answer the most important of questions. If the customer is set in his ways, so be it. While the equipment is good product, no way of knowing if it is right for his application.
