hmm maybe if you got the dual 2ohm versions and ran that amp at 2ohms.....you might get by, but even that seems a lil much to me.
the subs are only 300rms eh. Although....so long as your careful...more power never hurt....I run about 800rms to a pair of twelves and i don't think they'd be overly pleased about receiving much more power....but those are just my thoughts!
but....for the price and the power, they're a solid sub...pretty decent SQ not bad on the SPL levels....surely you can go better in either direction, but i personally like them....never had a problem with mine, nor has my brother who also happens to run an older version of them (he's been running his about 4 or 5 years, me about 2...)
for 1500w of power....i'm not sure of the price your lookin to pay, but you may be able to find something that'd enjoy a lil more of that power!

what about ummm like a single brahma? I'm not very good with other subs, other than what i've specifically researched, i'm sure someone else can throw some more idea's out here. I'm sure one of the elemental subs fit or....one of adire's, but i'll let someone else make the comment

so If I want to go for something, my second choice would be massives, but I don't know which model to go for....does anyone know where I can find a set of massives? thanks

Funny, I've only heard Island people recommend Massive. Must have a cult following over there.
For a BX1500D, it'll run the R's nicely, but be careful on the volume control. Make sure the subs are Dual 4 ohm (SWR-1041D), if you're running 2. Then, you can parallel the coils, and run them at a 1 ohm load.

Ideally if you want SPL, get a single 15" woof. For $400 you could easily get an 8000 series MTX or a Concept equivalent.
If you have a box already for 2 10's, check if there are any Cadence dealers in your area. Beast series subs are a real good deal and would fit your budget and power handling.
