Anyone heard or seen it? It would definitely fit my need.

Knowing my luck, it ain't available in Canada for another six months or something stupid like that.

It's available from Crutchfield.

It's a kind of cheese all true Canadians love to eat. Actually, Canada produces the best cheddar cheese in the world. Balderson and Armstrong cheddar are amongst the favourites of all Canadians. Fine cheddar ages to perfection over time - becoming sharp without getting crumbly.

Fine cheddar is indeed a rare find.

While Mckenzies, Hosers, and Golden Toques are a dime a dozen, Dogsledders and Brewmeisters are indeed harder to find. But a cheddar.......... there can only be one.

Let's leave it at that...........

So, anyone have other suggestions as to DIN sized centre channel speakers? I seem to recall one made by Clarion, but it was self powered. I would like a non amplified speaker.

Timmy mentioned AVI having really small mids about 2 inch in diameter. AVI's web site is not very hepful. I would like to find out more.

thanks.

AVI 2" has been quite popular in center channel applications. just ask Brian at Audiolines or Ryan Santoski (used to work for Speakercity) have used it with great success.

but see if the person is looking for a DIN application then the alpine is the way to go... if you feel like modifying and having fun with the dash, then you'd want to go with the AVI

Yes, and I'm torn between a ready made set and a design it yourself set. I would imagine Alpine would have done some kind of testing and not just slap a few pieces together. I will check into both and see what differences there are on quality, availability, and price.

BTW, DUKK, it looks like the Alpine set is ported.

So is the Alpine available in Canada? I was told it wasn't. The same place quoted me $150.00 each for the 2 inch AVI.
