Alternator noise, need help!!

I just replace my JBL GTO 75.4 w/ a Alpine PDX 150.4. I had no noise/ground issue before the switch. Now i have a whinning/static noise. I have my RCA's higher end Tsunamis running down the passenger side, and 4g power and ground running down the drivers side of the car. I have the amp grounded right to the battery because i had a ground issue before and this solved the problem. My HU seems to be grounded, and My RCA's aren't near the fuse box.

I'm running out of trouble shooting ideas, need some help!!!!

Thanks

the first step is finding the noisy component... make some muting plugs and start checking... (if you don't know what a muting plug is you better look on google) your problem could be a RCA ground touching ground when it shouldn't be... or the HU may be the problem.... if it seems to be the HU try powering it from a seperate 12v supply while your car is running...... if the noise go away its probably the HU and the old amp was probably better at rejecting the noise...

you can choose from several solutions at that point to fix the problem...
