Hey guys i was just wondering where and how much will it cost to get my alt re-wound. It needs to be a place in the GTA. Thanks.

You have to be careful with rewinding alternators because most factory cases can't deal with the cooling issues of larger windings, that is why most upgraded alternators have much bigger cases.

Most alternator shops can "modify" a GM or Dodge one to work on your Honda

Ive worked around a shop that did alt rewinds once in awile... seemes to like you can usually rewind for maybe %20-30 more current....


Im with tim though.. its probably cheaper/easier to modify the mounts on an exitsting alt for a larger vehicle....
