Am I a class AB or class D amp?

My friend and I had a debate over this amp,

CLICK FOR SPECS

both crutchfield and kicker website indicate this to be a class AB amp.

Looking at the specs it looks a lot more like a class D amp.

Please help my friend and I settle our debate as to which class of an amplifier this one really falls under.

It's obviously class A/B. Kicker is a reputable company, they know what they are doing.

Did I miss something. Whats wrong with class D?

BTW, kickers website says class A/B. I thought it was a class D as all their other amps 400+ are class D. So scratch that vote for class D.

it's not because its a single channel. it has all the other specs that are much closer to a class D amp than AB.

I see I see. Can you give some examples? Only things I can think of that would be diff is THD and effeciency rating. What would each be for each type of amp.

Btw seems like a reviewer at cruchfield clamped it and the amp was putting out over 350w @ 2 ohms. Considering ncix had this for 100 bucks a couple weeks ago, not a bad deal for mr. Joe Shmoe.

I don't get what looks like class D...its a 300wrms amp that is over a foot long that screams class A/B

Its A/B, the 400.1 and up are class D its funny because the 400.1 is SMALLER then the 300.1. (we sell both)

If they showed the efficiency rating of the amp that would settle it. The size or power have very little to do with the class of amp. Class D amplifiers are much more efficient but very noisy(which is why their used for subs, can't hear the noise!)If kicker says it's A/B we should take their word for it.
