I don't think crappy speakers can hurt your hearing.... but distortion dosen't help....

no doubt a stock stystem can hit 115 to even 120+db at 1khz C weighted...... (that means it can damage your hearing!)

ya thats true but as the other guy said my ears kinda sound like they r pluged and i feel like if i turn it up eanough to sound good again it is just going to do more damage, i realy want to get a nice set of components but working part time at minimum wage doesnt help
