Martine - I hear ya loud and clear - it's the same thing you get in any large store and it stinks. Ever try to get help in a Sears or Canadian Tire? BOO.

I just start looking around all shifty like and staff seem to flock right in Seriously though, all major stores have hospitality training but it sometimes is hard to see on the floor
Well I am glad to hear that I am not the only one around here that thinks this way. This board has educated me alot and made me more involved in Car Audio. However when I see crap like I have seen today on here it makes me wonder.

There are some very intelligent people on this board and that is a reason that I am here, lets just keep that up. Anyone can flap there mouth and be a retard it takes a intelligent person to back it up with proof and I didn't see one shred of that.

Now lets be nice and play fair, remember all the negative crap on here only gives the industry a bad name.

Personally what I, and probably a few other people, would like to know...if all these praise threads are getting flamed and locked down, what exactly would happen if somebody happened to post of a bad experience from a shop?

This is funny, this forum is here for a variety of reasons and it appears to meet its goals. The problems here are small. The overall goal is to inform and attract new users (and to sell product from our fine sponsors located to your left).
I agree a guy or gal should not advertise ones own company, BUT they should routinely draw on their knowledge and experiences acquired working at the shop. If someone is full of beans on a post tell them they are (but remember you could be next so do it nicely) an open discourse of opposing viewpoints is very informative. This forum is VERY entertaining and fairly informative. The views are fairly diverse and opposing viewpoints are tolerated (unlike other car audio forums)
I am focusing on your success and acknowledging your value, can you be better... sure, then do it.
As for that wooden spoon... its kind of hot

I don't see how posts get closed when they are talking about how people are happy with a shop/products/etc.. yet posts that are trashing them are remained open..

whenever i have a good or bad experience I post it up.. noone asks me to, I just do.. maybe some of people share the same views as me, and like to show people when how they've been treated so they either wont make the same mistake or will know where to go when needed..

on another note.. on this forum i think the a fair bit of people from eastern ontario use the same shop. So it shouldn't be suspicious that a fair bit would come on and post either way. If you went to Burlington I'm sure most people would recommend Burlington Radioactve. If you went to Woodbridge, 20hz and so on.

I also think it's unfair when it is deemed suspicious and closed, but then again I also think it's unfair for all topics pertaining to sound deadener besides certain types are closed.. but hey what do I know..
